A secondary criterion is outstanding service contributions to the GDN Section. The contributions justifying the award may be recent or they may have been made over the recipient&#8217;s lifetime.&nbsp; The Award will be accompanied by a Citation, to be prepared by the Section Award Committee, describing the recipient&#8217;s contributions to Group Decision and Negotiation.&nbsp;The previous recipients of this Award can be seen from this link&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q%3Dhttps:\/\/connect.informs.org\/group-decision-and-negotiation\/awards\/gdn-award-recipients%26source%3Dgmail-imap%26ust%3D1770697104000000%26usg%3DAOvVaw2nIgmdjWCRg8QFvUKKe0co&amp;source=gmail-imap&amp;ust=1770797405000000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1QmnDV8MZYu1AssSfxXOTa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">(GDN&nbsp;Award&nbsp;Recipients).<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;2026&nbsp;GDN Section Award is scheduled to be presented during the<strong>&nbsp;GDN conference in&nbsp;Katowice, Poland, 28 June to July 1, 2026<\/strong>. The Award Recipient will be invited to give a keynote at the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nominations<\/strong>&nbsp;should explain why the nominee is deserving of the GDN Section Award, specifying exceptional research contributions to the field of Group Decision and Negotiation, and outstanding service within and for the GDN Section. The nomination letter should not exceed two pages in length and should be submitted to the Section Award Committee Chair (see below) prior to the nomination deadline.
