Below you will find a list of recommended places to visit during your leisure time. Katowice is a city with unique modernist and post-industrial architecture, offering exceptional experiences on a European scale.<\/p>

1. GUIDO COAL MINE (ZABRZE)
<\/strong><\/p>

This is one of the key attractions on the Industrial Heritage Trail.<\/p>

What to do<\/strong>: Descend 320 meters underground in an authentic coal mine lift. Explore the labyrinth of mine corridors and visit the deepest underground pub in Europe.
Getting there<\/strong>: Approximately 20-30 minutes by Taxi\/Uber or take a train from \u015al\u0105skie Railways to Zabrze station, followed by a short tram ride.<\/p>

2. <\/strong>NIKISZOWIEC \u2013 Historic District<\/strong><\/p>

What to do<\/strong>: Stroll through the red-brick workers’ settlement, which enchants with its symmetry and early 20th-century atmosphere. Don\u2019t miss the local bakeries and cafes.
Getting there<\/strong>: Approximately 10-15 minutes by Taxi\/Bus.<\/p>

3. SILESIAN PARK AND THE “ELKA” CABLE CAR (CHORZ\u00d3W) \u2013 Green Oasis<\/strong><\/p>

What to do<\/strong>: Take a ride on the “Elka” cable car, offering an aerial view over one of the largest city parks in Europe. Enjoy the excellent view of the Silesian Planetarium, the Legendia amusement park, and the Silesian Stadium.\u00a0
Both the Planetarium and Legendia are must-visit attractions, offering engaging experiences for all ages.
Getting there<\/strong>: Tram from the center of Katowice (approx. 20 minutes).
English<\/strong>: A ride on the “Elka” cable car over one of Europe’s largest city parks. Don\u2019t miss the Silesian Planetarium and Legendia amusement park, perfect for family visits and entertainment.<\/p>
