{"id":8,"date":"2018-07-04T02:45:45","date_gmt":"2018-07-04T02:45:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gdnconference.org\/gdn2019\/?page_id=8"},"modified":"2019-01-17T17:15:11","modified_gmt":"2019-01-17T17:15:11","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/gdnconference.org\/gdn2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The &#8220;19th International Conference on Group Decision and Negotiation in 2019 a Joint GDN-EWG\/BOR meeting&#8221;, GDN2019, will take place in Loughborough, UK, from June 11 to 15, 2019.\u00a0Loughborough is at the heart of England in the northernmost part of the county of Leicestershire and being centrally placed it is well served by road, rail, and air.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lboro.ac.uk\/about\/find-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/www.lboro.ac.uk\/about\/find-us\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1541502325143000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGGjKPiBU_xoqkaPZ9tTc5NUraqHA\">Click here for travel directions to the University<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This conference\u00a0provides a forum for those working in the field, bringing together researchers from Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania.<\/p>\n<p>GDN series of conferences have provided a stimulating environment for the dissemination of state-of-the-art knowledge in the field of group decision and negotiation, allowing for intense discussions among participants and the exchange of ideas and critical comments for further improvement.<\/p>\n<p>This joint meeting of INFORMS\/GDN Section and\u00a0EURO Working Group Behavioral OR will bring together two connected, but still\u00a0distinct communities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">GDN 2019\u00a0topics will be organized in several streams and include all aspects of group decision and negotiation such as<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technological Foundations<\/li>\n<li>Systems Design and Use<\/li>\n<li>Methodological Foundations<\/li>\n<li>Theoretical Foundations<\/li>\n<li>Behavioural Aspects<\/li>\n<li>Applications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">There will be a dedicated student track offering pre-doctoral students an opportunity to present (preliminary) work and to receive valuable feedback.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Conference proceedings will be published in a volume of Springer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.springer.com\/series\/7911\">Lecture Notes in Business Information Processing (LNBIP)<\/a>, as well as a local proceedings volume for authors who choose to retain copyrights to their papers.
