{"id":14,"date":"2018-07-04T02:46:38","date_gmt":"2018-07-04T02:46:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gdnconference.org\/gdn2019\/?page_id=14"},"modified":"2019-01-30T20:45:10","modified_gmt":"2019-01-30T20:45:10","slug":"awards","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/gdnconference.org\/gdn2019\/awards\/","title":{"rendered":"Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>1) Conference papers Awards<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<h4><strong>1.1) GDN&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Springer&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Best Young Researcher<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The GDN Springer Best Young Researcher&nbsp;Awards is $300 and $200.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The author must not have completed the PhD<\/li>\n<li>The young researcher must be the first author of the paper, the&nbsp;supervisor can be co-author<\/li>\n<li>The paper must be presented by the young researcher at the conference<\/li>\n<li>It must be submitted as a full paper, not an abstract or extended abstract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h4><strong>1.2) GDN&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Springer&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Best Paper<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The GDN Springer Best Paper Awards is $600 and $400.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Selected papers are expected to be submitted&nbsp;to the INFORMS \u201cGroup Decision and Negotiation Journal\u201d published by Springer (GDN journal).<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>2) Society Award &#8211;&nbsp;Group Decision and Negotiation Section Award<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<p>We are seeking nominations for the <strong>2019<\/strong> Group Decision and Negotiation Section Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The GDN INFORMS Section Award honors an individual who has made outstanding contributions to research in the field of Group Decision and Negotiation and\/or outstanding contributions to the GDN Section. The contributions justifying the award may be recent or they may have been made over the recipient&#8217;s lifetime.&nbsp; The Award will be accompanied by a Citation, to be prepared by the Section Award Committee, describing the recipient&#8217;s contributions to Group Decision and Negotiation. The previous recipients of this Award can be seen in this link <a href=\"https:\/\/connect.informs.org\/group-decision-and-negotiation\/awards\/gdn-award-recipients\">(GDN&nbsp;Award&nbsp;Recipients).<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>2019<\/strong> GDN Section Award is scheduled to be presented during the GDN conference dinner in <strong>Loughborough, UK<\/strong>, in <strong>June 2019<\/strong>. The Award Recipient will be invited to give a keynote at the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nominations should explain why the nominee is deserving of the GDN Section Award, specifying exceptional research contributions to the field of Group Decision and Negotiation, and\/or outstanding service within and for the GDN Section. The nomination letter should not exceed two pages in length, and should be submitted to the Section Award Committee Chair (see below) prior to the nomination deadline.
